Free Rice: An online vocabulary game. For every correct vocabulary word it donates rice to hungry people around the world! Check out the Spanish version HERE!

A great way to expose students to a new language is by giving them content in a way that is easy for them to understand. One super easy way to do this is by taking a movie that they already understand in English, and switching the audio options into Spanish. Just go to the set up menu on your DVD or Blue-ray movie and switch to Español. I was surprised that in many animated movies they even changed the written words into Spanish for a majority of the time. Then the kids can understand the content and what is going on and they will pick up on the language even more. Disney and Pixar do a great job with their Spanish Audio! Check it out!

Discovery Kids has a lot of fun games all in Spanish to practice lots of different vocabulary. Have some fun playing HERE!

PBS Kids just launched a new website with many new games in Spanish! There are many that practice the numbers and colors! Who doesn't love to learn alongside Curious George!!! Check it out HERE!
